You can move through the month in real time, or find a past month in the archive and begin there. Everything is open whenever you find it.

You do not need anything special. A way to watch the month's media. A place to write, if you'd like. A willingness to move slowly.
From time to time the Academy links to simple tools that may be helpful. These are never required.
